Government Recognition

Impaired Driving Awareness Week

Each year, the Province of Saskatchewan issues a formal proclamation declaring Impaired Driving Awareness Week. These documents represent the government's commitment to reducing impaired driving and supporting the work of SADD Saskatchewan and its chapters.

Saskatchewan Says No to Impaired Driving

Provincial Impaired Driving Awareness Week is held each year in March. During the week, SADD Saskatchewan coordinates school presentations, chapter events, and public awareness activities across the province.

The provincial proclamation officially recognizes the week and the work of students and communities committed to eliminating impaired driving in Saskatchewan.

Proclamation certificates and letters of support from the provincial government are posted here for public reference.

What is a Proclamation?

A proclamation is a formal declaration issued by the Lieutenant Governor or provincial government officially recognizing a designated awareness period. It carries the authority of the province and is signed by a government representative.
