SADD Saskatchewan runs a suite of province-wide programs designed to educate, engage, and empower Saskatchewan youth to make safer decisions.
SADD's foundational awareness tool — a written agreement between a student and a parent committing to never drive impaired and to always provide a safe ride home, no questions asked.
Approximately 10 SADD members are selected each year to serve as the conference crew — providing technical assistance, leading activities, and introducing speakers. Members receive Team SGI clothing and complimentary conference registration and accommodations.
SGI Saskatchewan operates a province-wide speaker program connecting schools and community groups with powerful road safety speakers. Book directly through SGI's website.
Every November, SADD Saskatchewan coordinates the province-wide Red Ribbon Campaign — distributing ribbons across communities as a reminder to drive sober through the holiday season.
Our flagship annual event brings chapters together for training, workshops, awards, elections, and peer-to-peer inspiration. All chapters are encouraged to send delegates.
Student, Adult, and Family memberships are available. Becoming a member supports SADD Saskatchewan's mission and connects you to province-wide activities.
SADD Saskatchewan recognizes outstanding chapters, advisors, and students each year through the Nicole Nakonechny Memorial Award, Sarah Dunleavy Memorial Scholarship, Stan Dyck Memorial Award, RCMP Leadership Awards, and more.
SADD Saskatchewan is a registered charity. Your donations and chapter fundraising support our province-wide programs and help keep chapter costs low.
SADD Saskatchewan recognizes outstanding chapters, advisors, and student leaders through a suite of annual awards and grants — all presented at the Provincial Conference.
$1,000 SGI bursary + plaque to the most active SADD chapter of the year. Application required.
$1,000 academic bursary for a student entering their first year of post-secondary, based on SADD commitment throughout their school career.
Annual recognition for the adult advisor who has made an outstanding contribution to their chapter — nominated by students.
Leadership medals for individuals nominated by teachers or fellow members for outstanding contributions. ~8 awarded annually.
5 grants of $500 each for chapters running community-based impaired driving awareness projects. Awarded at the Conference Banquet.
Two awards — one for the chapter with the most members, one for the highest percentage of school population with SADD membership.
For individuals who were active in SADD during school and continue their involvement after graduation.
Inductions recognizing individuals whose extraordinary contributions have left a lasting legacy for SADD Saskatchewan.
The provincial office determines Membership Award winners automatically based on membership numbers submitted throughout the year. Make sure your chapter keeps its membership list up to date.
From Team SGI to the Red Ribbon Campaign — there's a program for every student, chapter, and community.
